Who we are:
Heat Elite serves as the showcase arm of the Lancaster Depew Ponytails Softball League, which was founded in 1979. Our primary travel program, the Lancaster Heat, is one of the most established and successful softball programs in Western New York.

Mission Statement:
Foster a culture of nurturing players, prioritizing the development of a group of girls whose passion lies in softball. With a focus on high-level play and college aspirations, we aim to provide opportunities for exposure and growth, empowering each athlete to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Fields and practice facility information:
Heat Elite teams enjoy priority access to our private training facility at Walden Pond Park, which is available for year-round training. The facility features two collapsible batting cages, a variety of equipment, restroom facilities, and a conference room for video review.

Walden Pond Park includes eight softball diamonds, with seven featuring skinned infields and one equipped with a turf infield. In the spring of 2026, we will be expanding the park by adding two more diamonds, bringing the total to ten. The new diamonds will feature fully turfed infields and outfields, ensuring optimal playing conditions in the Western New York weather.
